Book Final Exam

Based on the requirements of Ontario Ministry of Education, and to maintain academic integrity, all final exams of online courses must be written in-person and supervised by authorized people. Here are two options of your final exam:

Option #1

Writing with a Proctor

A student-selected proctor can be any adult who is not related to the student. This individual must agree to supervise the student for the duration of the exam, in accordance with C.LA procedures, as outlined by the instructor. The exam may be written at a time, place, and location that are most comfortable for the student.

Exam Procedure:

  1. Message your teacher through “MESSAGE” on the platform.
  2. Once the learning progress has been eligible to do the final exam, our admin office will email you the “Proctor Agreement Form”.
  3. Once you received the “Proctor Agreement Form”, please fill it out, and send a scanned PDF version back to finalexam@clawrence.ca. A copy of the Proctor’s Valid Photo ID is also required.
  4. Please pay the Final Exam Proctoring fees to the Administration Office. The payment options are on the second page of the “Proctor Agreement Form”.
  5. Once your proctor has been approved, the Administration Office will send out the final exam to their approved email.
  6. Once the exam has been written, the proctor must send it back to finalexam@clawrence.ca as a scanned, clearly, legible PDF document.
Option #2

Writing At the C.LA Office

Students also have the option to write their final exam at the C.LA office, if it is convenient for them to do so. In this case, one of our administrative staff will serve as pre-approved proctor. To schedule an in-office exam, simply email finalexam@clawrence.ca or call the office at least 2-3 business days in advance of the scheduled exam date. In-office exams may be scheduled Monday to Friday, from 10am to 6pm.
