Based on the requirements of Ontario Ministry of Education, and to maintain academic integrity, all final exams of online courses must be written in-person and supervised by authorized people. Here are two options of your final exam:
A student-selected proctor can be any adult who is not related to the student. This individual must agree to supervise the student for the duration of the exam, in accordance with C.LA procedures, as outlined by the instructor. The exam may be written at a time, place, and location that are most comfortable for the student.
Exam Procedure:
Students also have the option to write their final exam at the C.LA office, if it is convenient for them to do so. In this case, one of our administrative staff will serve as pre-approved proctor. To schedule an in-office exam, simply email finalexam@clawrence.ca or call the office at least 2-3 business days in advance of the scheduled exam date. In-office exams may be scheduled Monday to Friday, from 10am to 6pm.
